LO Wholesale Ltd ("we", "us", company number 14576734) is a UK distribution business. We buy branded and surplus stock from suppliers and sell it through online marketplaces. This policy explains what information we collect in running the business, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Enquiries: if you contact us through this website, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, company, email address and message.
- Suppliers and trade contacts: business contact details, order, invoice and payment records needed to buy and sell stock.
- Order and shipment records: details of the goods we buy and move (products, quantities, prices, dates, delivery status), including information from the emails and notices our suppliers, couriers and prep centre send to our business mailboxes.
How we use it
We use this information to reply to enquiries, place and receive orders, pay suppliers, track stock through delivery, preparation and sale, keep accurate accounts, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Our business systems and Google account data
We use a private stock-tracking system, run on a server that we control, to keep our records up to date. To do this it is connected to our own company Google accounts with read-only Gmail access. It reads order, dispatch, delivery and cancellation emails from suppliers in those mailboxes and keeps only the order details described above. It cannot send, delete or change any email, and it is only used by our company.
Information we receive from Google APIs is used only to provide these internal order and stock records. It is not used for advertising, sold, or shared with third parties, and people do not read it except where necessary for security, to comply with the law, or with the account owner's consent. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Sharing
We share information only where needed to run the business: with our accountants and professional advisers, payment and delivery providers, marketplaces we sell through, and our prep centre, and where the law requires it. These parties handle it for their own stated purposes or under our instructions.
Security and retention
Our systems are protected by a firewall, key-based server access and password-protected sign-in. We keep records for as long as we need them for our accounts, tax and legal obligations, and then delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Contact us at the address below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
